Novastaris a Belgian band, with Joost Zweegersas the founder and lead singer. They won Humo's Rock Rally in 1996. Ever since, musicians came and went, but Joost has always been the core of the group. He writes all the music and the lyrics. Novastar is best known for its emotional ballads, Joost's voice and his piano play are the key element of the songs.
